Changes from my first draft

After completing my first draft, I have decided that the incorporation of lip-syncing would really pushy my narrative forward and in particular using close up shots to ensure my music video shall include a wide variety of shot types to keep it interesting. For my lip-syncing I have used a strong female character from the homosexual relationship shown in the video so far as I feel as though she communicates well with the camera and shall give across the intended message for my music video being individuality, youth culture and escapism. This shall not only ensure my narrative maintains to capture the audience’s attention but shall allow me to demonstrate further different shot durations, camera angles and editing techniques so that my music video is in keeping with the fast pace movement conformative to the dance music video genre. The music video that I have created so far for my first draft shall be interspersed with the lip-syncing and act as flashbacks as the central female shall reminisce on her summer romance in comparison to those of her heterosexual friend’s relationships.
