Contrasting youth culture - different locations demonstrating different social classes etc Different sexualities – heterosexual couple juxtaposing homosexual couples Womens position in youth culture vs males - empowerment Beach establishing shots – following a group of teenagers demonstrating youth culture – move onto towns such as Brighton and Camden/Southbank – introducing a heterosexual couple finding each other – chorus leads on to festivals and party atmosphere – then back to London/Brighton etc – introducing a homosexual couple – as song continues the narrative follows the friendship group and couples enjoying summer, a sense of escapism.

I vision my audience to range between urban and mainstream based on the understanding that modern dance genre is rather mainstream. My video will reflect various teenage activities with location settings such as parties/festivals as well as relatable suburban day to day life which a mainsteam audience would recognise as i aim to target an audience of 16-25 year olds where gender is not specific. I imagine my audience to be slightly on the alternative/urban side of mainstream in regards to their clothing, wanting to keep ahead of the curb by mixing 90's vintage with contemporary fashion. keeping it minimalist with accessories.

Elements to include: > Atmosphere - I aim to build up to an upbeat atmosphere which inspires the audience to want to join in as the video reaches the climax of the chorus. > Lighting - I do wish to include abstract lighting using dark background with neon lighting in certain elements, however I do not wish to recreate a generic 'nightclub dance music video' as I feel this is over used. As my targeted audience will be more urban/aspirant I wish to also play with natural lighting as well as artificial neon lighting. > Storyline - I will have a clear linear storyline being established throughout, however there will also be a more complex/abstract narrative running in parallel that may be interpreted by the viewers in various ways. > Shots - I will include wide establishing shots where actors are shown visibly being placed into their location, as well as this I shall include close ups of various significant actors and objects throughout the video combined with a se...
