Our task was to create a new video for a small section of an existing music video, using original film content to demonstrate our knowledge so far of the conventions and elements that we have reviewed in both alternative and mainstream music videos. We chose do create a mainstream music video with an alternative feel for the first 90 seconds of the song "Finders Keepers" by Mabel and Kojo funds. Below is the response we filmed, edited and delivered. The camera shots present the girls from a front perspective as they walk towards the camera and occasionally catch direct gaze with the audience forcing the viewer to keep watching by engaging them. The camera continues to follow the girls movements creating a following effect keeping the viewer with them at all times, which keeps them focused on the girls continuous actions.
